Looking for a new job - what is the better indicator - Wands or Pentacles?

If you are looking for a new job certain Minor Arcana cards can indicate a change is coming. The most obvious one is the Ace of Pentacles which often represents the actual offer. Ace of Wands is more about a new career direction. Perhaps you are looking for a change of career with the focus on the change rather than monetary reward. Either way the Aces mean new beginnings. They are number 1s. If you are worried about your job security the 4 of Pentacles may indicate this is not a great time to move or that you are unlikely to make a move right now as stability and security weights heavily on your mind. You may not feel it is a good time to take a risk. The 8 of Pentacles is a classic sign of advancement, promotion or a new job with great prospects and financial reward. The 3 of Pentacles often turns up when reference checking is happening or if there is a good referral favouring you obtaining that new role where you will be well respected by colleagues. The 6 of Pentacles can often show an offer internally from a current employer or an interest in securing a role in welfare, health or a job where you feel you are making a difference in life lives of everyday people - helping those in need. Knights generally mean change. The Knight of Pentacles can indicate steady progress in a current role or a new job in the same field. Whereas the Knight of Wands is often a radical change of job which may also involve a change of location.

Of course there are many other indicators of a job change particularly in the Major Arcana which can provide information on the type of role e.g. The Magician - management, sales, The Heirophant - counsellor, advisor or consultant of some sort. The Star in general indicates very fortunate timing and good luck as does the Wheel of Fortune and The Sun Card also indicates success, achievement and opportunity just to name a few.
