New Romance?

One of the most common questions clients ask is when they are going to meet someone. Traditional tarot texts will tell you the classic indicators but there are other cards not necessarily traditionally associated with a new partner coming into a person's life but are also meaningful indicators.

The top row represents the classic cards associated with someone new entering your life. Ace of Cups and Two of Cups often show up at the initial meeting and beginning of romance. To me though the Lovers Card showing up is an indicator of a stronger connection and perhaps a life partner turning up. Someone who changes the course of your life. The 10 of Cups often suggests that the new person adds a feeling of completion of happiness in life.

The cards on the bottom row I have also found to show up in timing spreads and relationship spreads that can also indicate a new significant partner. For example the 7 of Cups often represents someone new about to enter someone's life and that they may be worth the wait. This card often shows up when a person is not happy in their love life or contemplating whether to continue with their current partner or not. The judgement card, surprisingly I have seen it represent a romantic partner coming into someone's life that wakes them up after perhaps some time on their own or feeling apathetic about being in a relationship in general. The Judgement card is a number 20 which reduces to a 2 - the number of relationships. I have also found the Strength card a great indicator of a new partner who is loyal, stable and supportive and the building of trust- qualities we all seek in a partner. Similarly the 4 of Wards can indicate celebrations and commitments in relationships and the 10 of pentacles can be an indicator of commitment together towards future plans.
